A rally to Trust Women.

My first time giving a speech from the bed of a pickup truck. Photos by Alexander Dufour and JD Jordan.

On Tuesday, a Trust Women Rally popped up in Forsyth County just down the road from where Donald Trump was coming to participate in a Fox News Town Hall focused on Women's Issues.

And while Trump spoke to a carefully selected crowd of women who will not challenge his lies or policies, hundreds of Democratic voters and local candidates swarmed the sides of his route to show Trump that Forsyth County and the people of Georgia sees through his lies and have something to say.

I was invited to participate alongside congressional, state legislative, and county candidates. And I was proud to talk about the lessons I learned from my mum—my first teacher, an amazing woman, a wonderful mom, and a pediatric RN that taught me the difference between mindful, responsible reproductive healthcare and radical moralizing from beneath a capitol dome.

JD JORDAN FOR GEORGIA STATE SENATE DISTRICT 56

For anyone in East Cobb, Roswell, or Woodstock alarmed by the state’s escalating attacks on our bodies, our families, our doctors’ offices, our classrooms and libraries, even our polling places, I’m running for State Senate district 56 to fight for our freedoms and to deliver a better future for everyone in Georgia.

And unlike my opponent who’s spent 14 years rolling back our freedoms, failing to safeguard our kids, and gerrymandered his district to stay in office, I promise to bring everyone in the 56—regardless of ideology—the best possible constituent experience so you feel heard, valued, and supported. As we all deserve to be.

I’m running for the 56. Let’s make a better Georgia for all of us.
